Crispy Prawn 65
jamuna news desk: If you love seafood, Crispy Prawn 65 is a dish that you can enjoy for sure with your friends and family. Hot and spicy, this appetizer recipe is deep-fried and can be enjoyed as it is, with tomato ketchup or with steamed rice.
200 gm washed & dried prawns
2 teaspoon red chilli powder
1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
3 teaspoon corn flour
1 tablespoon lemon juice
100 ml water
4 slices onion
1/2 teaspoon powdered turmeric
1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
1/4 teaspoon powdered black pepper
2 pinches salt
2 cup refined oil
1/2 small sliced cucumber
How to make Crispy Prawn 65
Take a bowl and add prawns in it along with turmeric powder and little salt. Mix them well.
Heat water in a deep-bottomed pan on medium flame and add the prawns (mixed with salt and turmeric) into the hot water and let the water boil.
Add 1 teaspoon of red chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder and black pepper powder.
Stir it, cover the pan and cook it on high flame for 2 to 3 minutes. Remove the cover and stir it.
Cover the pan again and cook it on medium flame for 2 more minutes, let the water dry. Turn off the heat, put the half cooked prawns into a bowl.
Add the remaining red chilli powder, corn flour, lemon juice, little salt and mix it properly.
Turn on the flame and heat a frying pan. Add oil into the pan and let it heat.
Put all the prawns one by one into the hot oil, reduce the flame to medium and fry it for 2 to 3 minutes.
Flip it to fry other sides, fry it from both sides equally.
Take out on the kitchen towel to absorb extra oil, turn off the heat.
Garnish with sliced cucumber and raw onion rings and serve hot.
