jamuna news : Police have launched a new mobile application "BD Police Help Line" to ensure its accountability to the citizens.
The apps will be available for smartphone users on both android and apple operating platforms from Thursday onward.
AKM Shahidul Haque, Inspector General of Police (IGP), launched the apps formally at Police Headquarters in Dhaka on Thursday.
General people will be able to collect and give info, lodge allegations anonymously with the police through this app and police officials starting from the level of OC (officer-in-charge) will get instant notifications from this app.
Ealier on July 31 the law enforcers launched a mobile application Hello CT to gather information from the public relating to militancy and extremism in the backdrop of recent terror attacks in Bangladesh.
