New Zealand beat Bangladesh by 67 runs in 2nd ODI
Jamunanews :Poor batting display by the Tigers allowed New Zealand to take 2-0 lead in the three-match ODI series as they beat Bangladesh by 67 runs in the second ODI held on Thursday at Saxton Oval, Nelson.
Chasing a winning target of 252 runs set by New Zealand, Bangladesh dismissed at a paltry total 184 runs in 42.4 overs.
Earlier, put to bat first by Bangladesh, New Zealand, rode on Neil Broom's unbeaten century, managed to score a decent total of 251 from their allotted 50 overs.
New Zealand - 251 for all in 50 overs, Broom 109 n.o, Ronchi 35, Latham 22, Mortaza 3/49, Taskin 2/45 and Shakib 2/45.
Bangladesh - 184 for all in 42.4 overs, Imrul 59, Sabbir 38, Nurul 24, Williamson 3/22, Boult 2/26 and Southee 2/33.
