Arrest warrant for Bulu, 29 others activists of BNP-led
jamuna news: A Dhaka court today issued arrest warrants against 30 leaders and activists of BNP-led 20-party alliance including Barkatullah Bulu in a case filed with the capital`s Paltan Police Station in 2014 under the Explosive Substances Act.
Judge of Metropolitan Sessions Judge court Kamrul Hossain Mollah on Tuesday passed the order after taking charges in cognisance in the case.
The arrest warrant also includes Mir Sharafat Ali Sapu, Sultan Salahuddin Tuku and Azizul Bari Helal.
The case was filed against 44 people including BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir with Paltan Police Station over subversive activities during hartal (shutdown) and blockade enforced by BNP.
13 accused including BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul, Senior Joint Secretary Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, Aman Ullah Aman are on bails while another has been in jail.
The court issued the arrest warrant against the 30 accused who are on run.
